Mammoth Archive of 2000 + Signed Photos and Other Pieces, a 30 Years Long Accumulation of the Greatest Names in Hollywood. 16 binders, a trove of signed photos, letters, and photos from printed materials by some of the greatest stars to come out of Hollywood. This is a phenomenal collection for collectors and an even greater find for dealers. Instead of a a barely organized mess that so many of these kinds of collections come, these signed items are all sleeved, in clean, thick binders. In reviewing the collection, it appears it spans 100 years, from the silent era (and stage) to 2010. The collection is mostly photos, but there are numerous photos signed that were carefully removed from tribute programs, magazines and the like. We cannot recommend enough previewing in person or sending someone to preview for you as there is much to see.

In a near futile exercise to list the names included in the collection, these first series of names are stars where there are at least 10-20 signed pieces of each:
Groucho Marx, Charlton Heston (especially fine images) Robert Mitchum, Barbara Stanwyck, Jane Fonda, Rock Hudson, excellent Gene Kelly images, the best collection of Jimmy Stewart we have ever seen, Doris Day, Janet Gaynor, Jack Lemmon, Mickey Rooney, Kirk Douglas, Dorothy Lamour, Burt Lancaster, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Lauren Bacall, Claudette Colbert, Shirley MacLaine, Fay Wray, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., and great Gene Kelly pieces.
